I haven't read anyman's response to your posting yet ... but I am expect apoplexy.
And I'm betting that somehow the First Amendment's guarantee is lost from consideration.
Christiantiy definitely controls the social discourse and culture in this country. Even when its ideas are purely nonsensical.
