Science.....or some would say God moves in wonderous ways. Lets asume Global warming has happened, we are 500 years in the future.
Sea levels are some 50-100ft higher, equitorial regions are far too hot for mans comfort.
Elsewhere its, drought followed by floods.
At least one biblical prophecy is fufilled, that
man will spread on all the face of the Earth.
Meaning ...we will all be living in the Antartic continent and Northern Canada, if we clever.
