I agree ... lets go back to the beginning. There are two entirely different things here.
One is science reporting. It is supposed to be factually accurate. To not contain fluff and hyperbole. And to be edited for accuracy.
The other is a political statement. By its very nature it is not intended to be accurate but rather to promote re-election to office. It is, by design, a container for fluff and hyperbole.
Do you think they are equivalent?
I didn't imply GWB was an idiot. I very pointedly have stated on many occassions that I think he has the IQ of a grapefruit.
