"ephemeral icons" may be how you refer to chaos theory.
the way that i refer to chaos theory is that it is one way that thinking humans describe physical phenomena.
i don't think of 'chaos theory' as an icon,(object of uncritical devotion) i think of it as a working theory.(a principle offered to explain phenomena).
