handy tool... (no science, but useful program name inside)

I recently came across a program you can run on your computer that will catch and summarily execute most popups that try to appear when you visit a website. If anyone wants it, I'll email the install file upon request, or you can search for EMS Free Surfer mk II or mk 2, if you're feeling lucky.

Just a heads-up to anyone else who gets annoyed at times. I thought to post it here while I was looking around scientificamerican.com and everytime I go back to the main page those two little popups asking if you want to subscribe to their newsletter always get caught by my little popup killer friend here.
