The point is that he is a politician. Doing what politicians do best ... talk out of both sides of their mouth so that each constituency has something it can point to and say "See he agrees with us."

My point is that the exact wording of what he says or what is written by his administration (or any administration I'm not just picking on GWB) is pointless. All that counts is actions and there are none.

So reading the text of some political document means nothing which is why I don't waste my time with them. Were it a document in a peer reviewed journal I would read it. And that too is the point.

Have I made my point?
