Theories and their effects

People have used evolution as a justification (not persuming a bad way automatically) for their activities. And people probably use it in trying to understand their place in the human race or relationship with nature. Because of the vast possibility with evolution would people on this forum think it should be ignored as guide to life in much the same way as we ignore the earth's rotation for the purposes of ordinary living. e.g. When you tell a child the earth is rotating they sometimes think they can actually feel it, as adults do we make a similar mistake in thinking evolution plays a part in how our lives will turn out.
