the activities of humans are based on chemistry.
life may be complex, and just because we haven't figured everything out yet, doesn't mean we can't eventually figure it out, or at least advance in our understanding.
the alchemists thought they know a lot, and now we know more than they did. maybe, just maybe there is a bit more to find out. chemistry-wise.
