NASA has just announced to night, that the Surveyor spacecraft has found where all the water that Mars
supposedly had, is hidden.
It is frozen just just one meter underground, almost everywhere.
In fact it is possible that Mars had never lost its water, as we previously believed. NASA stated that if all the frozen water on Mars was to melt, it would turn into a water world.
Now NASA has confirmed this, they are going to make serious plans to land a man upon Mars, as soon as possible. They state that the person likely to go, will be alive now, in their teens and an American.
The British are excited since they are due to land their 'Beagle' space craft on Mars some time next year.
This huge water find just 1 meter below the surface means that man can supply himself with the means for life using just a spade. The water also will provide the means for return fuel.
