Re: Global Warming (George)

I’m starting to work my way through all the links and immediately found the following interesting:

http://www.giss.nasa.gov/edu/gwdebate/
"Indeed, science thrives on repeated challenge of any interpretation, and there is even special pleasure in trying to find something wrong with well-accepted theory."

George: "These are the very same people who had a consensus that we were on the verge of an ice age."

DA Morgan: "Oh come on now. Newsweek is not science reporting."

George: "Newsweek is not the issue. Consensus is the issue."

Others: Chatroom discussion of cooking and the idea husband and women’s issues.

It appears to me that George presented a good argument that maybe we should question the current consensus and you just blew it off. As the NASA link you provided said, questioning consensus is part of science. Most of the time the consensus is correct but it never hurts to question it. Science is questioning, not blind faith in the consensus.
