70 years ago, many people still genuinely believed that cancer was sent to an individual as a "punishment from God".

Sorry, I know it's not funny but... I still laughed.
I'm glad my grandparents were smarter than that. Even being more fundamentalist than anyman himself, no offence to anyman, of course.

SOMEONE needed to read more about Job... Although I think destroying someones entire family is a bit much to win a bet, but hey... I'm not god. :)
