As you can see. there is an immediate and unreasoning response denigrating the idea of CFIDS as a disease. Unfortunately, on this board is reflected much of the attiude of Majority America. What they don't understand, they either bash or dismiss. If they can't see it, it doesn't exist; if they don't feel it, it doesn't hurt.
Unfortunately, people like that control most of the research money in this country. I'm beginning to think that if I want to save my life I'll have to go someplace else where they take CFIDS, and viral illnesses in general, seriously. A chilling thought, that. My life, or my country. What a choice.
