Re: According to the horse's mouth... (Amaranth Rose)

You never have taken anything I post seriously, why should things change now?

You mean take what you say on faith? I don't often take what people say on faith but there are a few people i've come to trust enough not to [constantly] check up on.

CFIDS is a disease, caused by some as yet unelucidated infectious agent.

Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. Evidence so far suggests it isn't. But why let evidence get in the way.

Hint: it's probably smaller than a _Plasmoodium vivax_.

Well, start looking then. I wish you luck in your search.

You may trivialize and put down all you like, but you are still wrong.

I havent trivialized the syndrome, only the doomsayers.

In the same way that Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease, perhaps, an errant response to an immunological insult that becomes self-perpetuating long after the initial infectious agent is dead and gone.

Rheumatoid arthritis can be objectively measured. CFS cannot.

You're wrong. Orthostatic Hypotension is an effect, not a cause.

Yea, so?

It could be an effect of the same thing that causes CFIDS, or it could be something that tends to travel with it.

Or it could be a purple monster in your basement. I certainly cannot prove the monster does not exist so...

Read Osler's Web. Don't bother me until you do.

The scientific reviews do not hold it as a very scientific work so i'll pass - thanks anyway. Oh - and if you don't want to be bothered by me, don't click my posts.

bye now.
