Re: and... (anyman)

Anyway, you are welcome to propagate the myth of your statement above if you like...but it's a myth...and I’ll be there as often as I am able to offer an alternative view :-)

Yes, you will be there. Fighting until death to protect your belief in (your) god purely out of love and compassion. It is sad that you can't see the hypocrisy in those actions. What would this world be like today if religion and the belief in a supreme being did not play a role in our history? Would we destroy the planet on which we live knowing that this is our only existence? Would we over populate? Would we senselessly send species of plant and animal life to extinction? I think not. I believe the world would be a better place without religion and the belief in an after life. If this planet was considered our only refuge we would be more responsible. We would care more about the survival of everything here. We would work harder to educate the world population. I don’t think god put everything here on this planet for our desecration.

Also, I have read the bible. What a joke. Anyone could make up a better story without much effort. When it was written tribal survival depended upon specific behavior, and cooperation of tribal members. Controlling the group was essential for survival. Those groups that practiced the lifestyle (described in the bible) tended to survive. Those that did not died off. This is just another example of how the gene pool has evolved throughout history.

There is no proof that god exists. I am waiting for your (real) proof.
