Glad to hear it.
I suspect teaching organic must be one of the most frustrating things one could opt for if one's students are undergrads.
The new syntax such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, amyl, etc. is mind-numbing to many. Add to that trying to memorize name reactions and ....
One of the tricks I remember using to memorize things was to rename common chemicals. So, for example ethyl alcohol became hydroxyethane.
