Granted.
And I have no problem with facing reality. Sometimes reality is sweet and fragrant. Sometimes it is like Godzilla stomping on Bambi.
But the fact that reality is harsh is no excuse for not caring about our fellow planetary inhabitants.
My complaint is not with so-called "acts of god" but rather with self-centered indifference of humans.
