I spend the better part of two and a half years creating a work of Science Fiction, and protagonists to go in it, and now I find out that one of my major characters exists, has existed, for millions of years, here on Earth, a living species!
Do you suppose I ought to write this guy and make sure one of us isn't copyright infringing?
Darn! And he was such a NEAT Character!
