Very good point, understand the motivating force of belief so won't argue against that. And science wouldn't be worth anything if it didn't bring some more meaning to our existence. But I can't find an argument when someone tells me to belief without proof. Or proof that seems to run no better than that of UFO's to me an any rate. But would accept completely that we need to first belief in something to make science worth anything. I believe in people looking for meaning, I can identify with that, but worry a bit when they say they've found it.
