Looks like the government is finally going to cut through the nearly endless miles of red tape and NIMBY political machinations and finally open a safe storage site for nuclear waste. I'm thinking that fear of terrorist theft or sabotage of nuclear waste, now stored willy nilly at various sites across the country, is behind the plan.
