most don’t know...and many who do often forget (as evidenced by dale’s post)...that according to the big bang (and it’s various evolutionary versions) model, there is NO center, NO edge, and NO boundary to the universeI knew and didn't forget. I was taught that there is no center and that even if there were, relativity would prevent us from knowing where it was. At the time I even believed it. Then I saw the evidence that neither statement is true (the linked page being one datum). But that same data shows that the earth is far from the center. Would that make any difference? (Rhetorical question since, as I said just below, I may not be around to answer for a while.)
