YesI wondered that myself, since there are only 3 or 4 places in the world where the oldest rocks are found.
I believe the Decaan plains , India and there are someold rocks in newfoundland. But I am not sure
Have to look it up. But I wouldhave thought the same,relatively few rocks, also carried the reverse magnetic signatures, Which decided their orientation, at that time?
The jig saw fitting of the Continents, back to Pangea is understandable....but way further back?
Unless of course the Geologists are saying that the present Continents are floating, much as they were a billion years ago?
