I goofed a bit with that post Dale. I had meant to post another link to this post by Dan.
But i agree with your comments completely.
Additionally i'd speculate that none of these nations actually had any intention of 'buying' credits from any outside nations (with the exception of the EU trading within the EU)
Some thought to 'sell' quite a few to the U.S., once we came to our senses and slit our own economic hamstring.
That's really the only reason they are continuing this charade - hope against hope that we'll do something incredibly stupid - and maybe a touch of continuing to appease their own respective green parties.
