If Gravity is decreasing ever so minutely, I dont think lighter rocks would 'float' more. I just think that the earth would expand across its diameters by a millimeter or so, (plus everything
else-atoms and electrons in orbit etc) Its just a guess... that it would work in the same way, like the speed of light. Unmeasurable, since the ruler
or spring would have expanded, what ever way round a ruler, or measuring equipment was placed. Since gravity would be weaker through out our Universe.
