Thats Hilarious, it made me laugh.
Its a prime example on how to put the 'frightners'
on a gullible public by mentioning chemical
additives and food in the same breath.
Phenylalanine is an ingredient in many soft drinks
especially of the Dr Pepper (pep you up) types.
Since phenylalanine acts much like a caffiene.
It is not allowed to be fed to racehorses in the UK, or given to them in the form of Mars Bars chocolate, which has phenylal'n as an additive.
The amount of phenylalanine in a tiny sweetner must be miniscule.
On a more serious note, I remember when the USA banned the sweetener Saccharine over 20 years ago because it was shown to cause liver cancer when fed (in quantity) to rats.
A cause of breast development in children and men was shown to be caused by the hormone treatment given to chickens.
I guess we are all drinking 'hormone-ised' water
these days with the advent of the mini daily pill.
No wonder our sperm count has been going down.
