Get your point, when computers beat me at chess it destroyed some feeling I had about the game, having once thought it was more than just computing power. Is life just computing power, is that your question?. I have thought about this, and decided it's acceptable only if the complexitity is never unravelled, which looks like it never will because we're also changing leaving no anchor point to built a complete picture. Hope I'm not missing your point completely. Get back if so.
