Pure capitalism generally requires that those that use or obtain something pay for it. And do not ask others to subsidize it.
There are exceptions ... such as help for disaster victims. But they should be few, well thought out, and, created as exceptions rather than the rule.
I often wonder what our world economy would really look like if all subsidies were removed. I think the change would be so dramatic it is beyond comprehension.
