i read parts of the link.
Lewontin is well-respected in his field, and i go along with the general idea that he is a well-informed scientist.
however, i do disagree with the specific comment
from the link that 'it is not the product of the genetically engineered bacteria that is causing the problem, but the result of industrial processing...'this comment may be correct, but in my opinion, it may not be correct. the possibility is that there is more to the dna sequence of proteins than the linear amino acid sequence, and until that is delineated, problems will arise, as a direct result of currently produced genetically engineered products.
