Exorcizing with Natalie

Lie? Lay?

I'm a liar.

I'm a layer .

My spelling-god is omniscient only one day a week.

On every other day of the week, I'm demon-possessed by entirely robust fecund demons of unsurpassable stupidity. What fun would a guy be otherwise? Natalie, you exorcists of science errors and spelling errors are the real modern-day terrorists, not poor ‘ole Osama: you and those evil math teachers and science teachers, who make us think, and who correct us when we're wrong :). Out! Out!

Have you read, Pascal Boyer's cognitive-anthro, "Religion Explained: The Human Instincts that Fashion Gods, Spirits and Ancestors" (2001)? Evo bio/sociobio and anthro: I know the field's a mess yet: a toddler science just begging to walk. First steps. But fun. So damn hard, Natalie, as you know, when these issues come up in local school board meetings voting on teaching/not-teaching evolution. I don't have the answers. It's amazing, and it's a rather precious gift, that science ever got off the ground in the first place. I hope the candle of science is never snuffed out. Which is why we need more terrorists you like correcting belching liars and layers like me!
