I agree Bill, literally out of this world!

(Please note 'literally' in a very rare correct use of the word), (maybe almost unique!) I'll stop now.

Anyone seen any conspiracy theorists denying the landing?

The Guardian, Thursday 13 November 2014 18.16 GMT

It didn't take long.

Rosetta's Comet 67P Is Actually An Alien Warship, Claims Strangely Popular Conspiracy Theory.

I should have known; the Huffington Post were there 6 weeks ago.

I couldn't get the huffington one to work (and didn't have time to wait) but I read a different version of the first one on line. In that theory the comet makes a singing noise and the probe has been sent to investigate. There were recordings of the song too, a very clear radio 'noise'.

I obviously spend far too much time reading these things, and it is very sad that as soon as there is a stunning effort like this landing someone comes along to destroy it with stories of governmental conspiracies and so on. It would be very exciting if there were alien artefacts and structures, but there are many questions to be answered, before that could possibly be deduced.

In the meantime I think this landing is amazing, and until it is proved otherwise, a remarkable achievement.
