just look at these poor poor helpless polar bears
struggling to stay afloat on the ever increasing waves
of solidifying Hydrogen and Oxygen due to the extreme
hazards of global warming.

Paul, you do realise that out-of-context snippets with unidentified quotes, served up by either side of the argument, make little impression on those who are genuinely looking for the truth; don't you?

but the article is from the dailymail and nobody who post
here seems to value their articles.

you probably wont be able to find such breaking news articles
that fly in the face of main stream science on a main stream
science web site either , so until the mainstream catches up
with the tabloid or truth web sites then these are the
types of web sites that we will find the breaking information on.

A million sq. km. below the recent average (398,000 sq. miles below the average) is more than one standard deviation from normal, but not outside of two standard deviations from the norm.

...not that the science is based on trends,
but these observations are consistent with predicted changes for the early stages
of a geological-scale global warming event.
