Tim Jones at remote central has posted a condensed history of the earth I came up with some years ago. Perhaps some of you might like to comment. I'm always open to suggestions for improvement. You may find it useful to refer IDers and creationists to the site. It should mess up their arguments considerably. The site:

Thanks, Terry, for an interesting post. The timeline presented is a good way of dealing with major time epochs, IMHO. At least it works for me.

Common misperceptions about the time scales involved often are the cause of heated arguments. Thanks Terry; this is a great thing to look at. I'm gonna show my kids! Maybe my son can work it into his radio show.

Have you stumbled upon the Half-Life of some unique parameter of Evolution? And if so, to what are we rapidly approaching?
