did you know that if you were to harvest only the fallen pine straw underneath pine trees and any fallen limbs , that fuel along with the gigga tonnes of pine sap every two weeks could power america.

how much heat can you get from a single pine tree if you harvest its pine straw and pine sap then after 40 years you can use it for fuel...or build houses with it.

Hey. Valid points Instead of burning all kinds of wood I think the idea is to use the wood as building material or recycle it if it's possible...

Of course not all wood can be recycled/used to build houses with - and then it's better to burn in instead of fossil fuels etc.

using wood for building materials is the most environmentaly friendly way of producing building materials.

most pulp mills , lumber yards , all use the pine sap in pine trees to produce a fuel known as black liquor to burn in their boilers to produce their electricity that the plant uses.

this cuts out the need to import oil or gas which reduces the CO2 created in transporting that oil or gas.

some or many electric power plants use pine trees to generate electricity.

there are pellet plants that are popping up around the U.S. that are environmentaly friendly because they reduce the transportation of imported fuels , these pellet plants do not use whole trees , they use tree refuse
ie.. the stumps and limbs and tops of harvested trees
that are harvested for building materials.

we are a gettin smarter and smarter.

when they figure out that you can harvest pine sap using steam pipes connected to trees to flow the sap to the boiler then they will begin to set up electric plants in the forest that will be extremely environmentaly friendly.
