The Hubble spacecraft may have seen the formation of a Blackhole that has just been produced by the collision of a pair of rotating Binary Neutron stars.
Hubble actually spotted and photographed the huge visual
explosion, called a Kilanova, which all in a few milliseconds,
produced and kicked out Radioactive material, and a Gamma Ray burst, this all heated up heated up to produce a long burst of visible light, which in turn was then swamped, milliseconds later, by the amount of Ultra-Violet light production.
NASA assumes that the Neutron Stars collision, contracted to form a huge Blackhole.
