from the University of California at Los Angeles:

The tutorial is a bit dense for the lay public but might be of interest to those here at SAGG.

What do you think? Too dense or just right?

Hi DA,

I havn't seen this in awhile. I think it is just right. It is not too advances, i.e., little math, but it is well illustrated and sound on the theory side.

One problem though is that some of the links on these pages are broken. Mostly it seems to be with the graphics. That's too bad. This might be a better reference:

http://www.nordita.dk/conference/MasterClass2005/material/NedWrightCosmologyTutorial.pdf

It is a PDF that has Wright's tutorial assembled all together in one place and used as a classroom reference.

Wright's old ucla home page is:

http://www.astro.ucla.edu/~wright/cosmolog.htm

Many of the links here are still live.
