A Dutch company plans to send four people to Mars by 2023
There’s just one catch. The team won’t come back.

Prehaps theres another catch...It could be a hoax.

And yet the company behind the initiative, called 'Mars One'
has earned the endorsement of a Nobel prize winning physicist, Gerard ‘t Hooft, who says the plan is possible.

On its website, Mars One explains, “The entire world will be able to watch and help with decisions as the teams of settlers are selected, follow their extensive training and preparation for the mission and of course observe their settling on Mars once arrived.”
In an interview with Business Insider, Mars One founder Bas Landorp defended the integrity and plausibility of his plans.

they need to lock any prospective citizens inside a oxygen free environment for an entire year so that they will understand the consequences of any portion of their habitat failing.

maybe even 4 years.

I hate to sound negative but 1 person who develops paranoia or some mental problem could easily kill everyone by making a single
mistake.

I dont think that people should be exposed to never being able to come back to earth.

that alone would mound a great amount of stress on an individual.

we'll just have to wait and see.
