I'm not interested in spending a half an hour watching cartoons, even if it is Saturday morning. But! What is it with Bugs Bunny and Wiley Coyote? Wiley Coyote chases the road runner, not Bugs.

I know , but its good because of bugs personality.

with TRR it would just be more of the SOSO.

I think that this change of opponent was a success and
more entertaining even if the change did break with SOP.

I remember saving my daily quarter allowance and on Friday
on the way home from school I would buy a really big bag of
candy and drinks to consume watching the Friday night late
movies and Saturday cartoons.

Well, you are obviously after my time. The Road Runner was after my time. We had Saturday morning radio programs, and I never really got into those. I do remember my brother and sister listening regularly to them. What I saw of cartoons was when we went to the movies.

Now I remember seeing the road runner and laughing, but I can't remember when. I don't recall if it was at the movies or when I was an adult and saw him on TV.

There was a time when I was in high school when I would walk home because then I could stop at the drug store and get a 5 cent drink and then go by Allison's where the owner was selling magazines with the cover torn off for 5 cents. The bus fare was 10 cents, and that was my main allowance. Then I could spend the evening reading the magazine, usually a western.

you might enjoy these then , they are coming back in style
to those of us who have troubles sleeping.

if you have a really good imagination you can actually
close your eyes and see the show the way your brain
assembles the information.

at least I can.

much the same way that your brain assembles a movie from
a book your reading or have read ... you've never watched
the movie but when you think about it , you see it , not
just the text you read.
