I have been doing quite a lot of research into weather modification (manipulation of weather for military purposes) and I would like to invite people to read the articles provided. I have reason to believe that Hurricane Sandy and Cyclone Evan may have been manufactured. Take some time to read what I have written. Hopefully it will persuade people to turn their attention to this cause.

Article #1: Hurricane Sandy, Weather Warfare?

Article #2: Weather modification, why we should be concerned

I also have reason to believe that the use of weather modification is severely effecting our climate. NASA states that:

“Even small changes in the abundance or location of clouds could change the climate more than the anticipated changes caused by greenhouse gases, human-produced aerosols, or other factors associated with global change.“

This statement suggests that weather modification has a great deal more of an effect on climate then greenhouse gases and human-produced aerosols. Why isn't this effect discussed publicly? Why isn't the effect of weather modification on climate part of the climate change debate?

Article #3: Cyclone Evan, a direct attack on Samoa and Fiji?

Article #4: The Environmental Modification Convention, ENMOD

I'm glad to see that you put this in NQS. At least you didn't try to claim this was in any way science.

You make a statement right at the start of your screed "weather modification (manipulation of weather for military purposes)". While I'm sure that the military would like to be able to control the weather it is so difficult that they wouldn't be putting much stress on it. In fact weather modification research is primarily to control weather conditions to create rain where it is needed and stop it where it isn't needed. It would be nice to be able to control large systems, such as the complex of weather systems that produced Sandy, but that is a long way from being possible. The problem is that weather is a chaotic system. Look up Chaos theory on the web to get an idea what that is about.

As far as military uses of weather are concerned, you not only have to control the weather in one localized area, you also have to take into account what a change in the weather in this location will do to the weather in those other locations. You may make the weather what you want right here and right now, but that will have an unpredictable ripple effect on weather all around which may cause more problems than you solved.
