Or so says one philosopher:

(harmless registration required to read the above)

I don't buy into this, but it is worth reading.
Mike B,
I got the following error, which is a new one on me, when I tried to access your link.

"Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"

Do you have another link to this content?

Thanks,

Amaranth

I got the link OK, Rose.

Interesting article. Mike B. Which reminds me:

When I was knee high to grasshopper, my little buddy and I were sitting in the the dark of a winter's evening, in a small copse, gazing at the stars through silhouetted branches, and speculating. We proposed that all of this was an experiment by some superbeing, and that we were no more than a construction in its mind. Weird enough already, but OK - until I suggested that maybe it worked only as long as nobody cottoned-on to it. Maybe if anyone did see the truth, they would simply vanish. We both ran all the way home, quite terrified!
Okay, I got the link okay now. Must have been a server glitch.
