Hi guys,In this `life` There are opposites like rough and smooth, hard and soft, life and death, short and tall, wide and narrow, light and dark.....and the list goes on.Yet they are All states of existence.Did darkness exist before light? of course it must have done, therefore does it not follow that what we call death is still an existence.it seems one cannot exist without the other......

Your "opposites" and totally artificial and relate only to your personal experience and that of those like you.

A rattlesnake in a room you call dark would easily see a mouse. What you call dark is dependent upon the fact that your vision is limited to a small range of the spectrum. Similarly birds can see what to us is invisible, ultraviolet, and astronomers will gladly tell you there is no such thing as "dark" in the universe unless you are swimming in supercold liquid helium 3.

Your other opposites are similarly flawed. And thus so is your straw man proposition about darkness before light.

There is no dark.
There is no light.
There are only photons.
