I am a fifteen year's old boy and I am interested in science. I study in Malaysia and will finish my PMR examination soon. I want to further my studies in science and I am interested in Quantum and Classical Mechanics.

I am wondering that should I study overseas? Which country should I go? Any scholarships suitable for me? And the cost would be expensive?

Hope that you all can give me a good advise. Thanks for consultation.

You don't have to go overseas Gan. I am sure there are plenty of good universities in Malaysia ask around for which has the best physics program.

Given your interest I would also suggest you read Brian Greene's

"The Fabric Of The Cosmos: Space, Time, And The Texture Of Reality".

If you are interested in those subjects you should be able to understand it as it is sort or reduced down for normal people to understand.

Others may have some pointed advice ... but I wish you well in your studies.

Seriously, Malaysia does not support pure sciences courses. If yes, they also won't appreciate this type of professor. They want engineers, doctors and so on. This is our culture.

For the U.K., I think you might get some guidance from:

The British Council

http://www.britishcouncil.org/malaysia-about-us-contact-us.htm

"The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. British Council Malaysia is a branch (995232-A) of the British Council, registered as a charity in England and Wales (209131) and Scotland (SC037733)."

Thanks redewenur. If I can't get any scholarship, I am going to take GCE O level additionally to let international university recognise.
