I am not sure who is playing around ...We had at least 6 people replying to this subject, yesterday?
Now it has disappeared, or some one has deleted it????

I have spent some time looking for the (at least) 8 replies
on this subject. With no sucess, shame.

I was trying to find more 'proof' on this very audacious idea. Before the posts got lost? or deleted?

Recap and More Thoughts on 'Adams Earth Expansion Theory'

Adams is trying to convince the scientific community that the undersea expansion rifts ...do not cause the Continents to separate

As I understand it this upwelling or rift does not have the strength to push apart two Continents, to the side?

The directional spread of two land masses is easily seen by checking the longtitudinal direction of the residual magnetic field left in the rocks on cooling.

My personal thoughts upon this is "The Continental Rift Bed ..is amazingly flat for a magma upwelling with the ability to push apart Continents" ?
I would like comments* upon this thoughts.

Adams basic theory, back traces in time, all of the undersea residual
magnetic stripes, he closes them back up, in the exact direction they came from.
Firmly stating that the magnetic striping prove that the Earth is expanding.
Stating that all of the worlds rift beds are under seas, and therefore are lower than the continental land masses and that they are much newer as well
as *thinner, (and flatter) I added flatter as an afterthought.

Here Adams states that all Suns, all Planets all Moons in, and including the Universe are growing.
'Expansion* of the universe?'

I have not found his 'proof ' yet, but Adams URl below, on Europa (Jupiters Moon), is interesting.

Seriously, though, I'm sorry this thread has vanished, it promised some interesting discussion, and I was looking forward to a contribution from Preearth. Any chance of finding it again?
