Could Photobiological Hydrogen help save and re-Green the World

Photobiological Hydrogen used as a renewable energy source, could be an alternative to painfully expensive gas prices, power the industrial generators of the world, virtually getting rid of oil power.

It is estimated that the production of pure Hydrogen molecules from Algae can be greatly increased by using enzymes, catalysts, and molecular chemistry to 'float-away' the pure hydrogen molecule and not allowing it to combine, mix, or have any other affinity, or chemical reaction to oxygen or other Algae made chemicals in the production water.

Theoretically, one should be able to do this, but understanding how to apply these tools for problems relevant to biological hydrogen production is extremely challenging.
The problem with the living biological algae water splitting hydrogen production, is the interaction between the evolving oxygen molecules (Fe-Hydrogenase), and the evolved Hydrogen.

A possible approach is to keep away the evolved Oxygen away from the Hydrogen, by introducing a known or unknown Catalyst into the equation, that introduces a molecule that has a higher affinity for the Oxygen than the Hydrogen. Or even better, transports the Hydrogen right out of the Algae cells quickly and cleanly.
Where on earth would anyone find molecule like this? Well it is theoreticaly possible.

Hemoglobin transports oxygen from lungs to cells in most animal species. What the scientists are trying to find out today, is whether Hemoglobin can be made compatible with plant species?

There is a lot of research going on, studying the properties of hemoglobin to find similar proteins. By docking oxygen molecules to these hemoglobins, then running classical md, to see how they transport through the Algae cells, ....is just one possibility.

There is a huge amount or research going on, from using complicated molecular chemistry, to the simple colouring of the Algae water to increase its photophobic efficiency.

Natural pure Hydrogen production from living Biomass could help the world, starting with cars.
