Amazingly clear pictures of the World Trade Center collapse
Pictures free of dust, having been taken by Police Helicopters.
One wonders why it has taken 9 years for the release of these pictures.

Whereas it was the business of the news media to present the information and imagery to the public - a job done pretty well, I'd say - these images were not taken specifically for public information; and since we already know what happened in sufficient horrific detail, there would have been neither obligation nor need to broadcast them. I don't see that, nine years on, they serve any useful purpose.
