A "brick" object was discovered on Mars,
with size about 120x120x20 mm.

What are the chances that such an object was formed by coincidence? They are far less than for 10 lottery drawings in a row, to produce the same numbers.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PROOF:

1. Chances of a naturally produced rock of about 10x10x3 mm being a rectungular shape, are less than 1/10, we know it from observtions on the Earth and of Mars pictures.
It is a rule of statistical physics, that
p_V2 = p_V1**V2/V1

in out case V2/V1= 120*120*20 / 10*10*3 = 956
p_V2=<1.0e-956

Let us say that every pixel on the 1000000 of Mars pictures could be a rock; it gives N=1.0e+12 rocks

Expected number of rectangular rocks of volume V2 then would be N*p_V2 = 1.0e-944

What it means is that if it were a coincidentally formed rock, then to get the picture of a brick that we have, we would need to photograph Mars about <google in power ten> years in a row, which is still about <google in power ten> times longer than our universe has existed!

Brick is on the upper left.

Bubbas see Elvis on the side of trailers. Some lady just sold a famous cheese sandwich that reportedly contained a sacred image.

Neither the number of trailers nor the attempts at crafting greasy bread artforms equal google to a noogle's power but it does prove people will see what they wish to see in the wonderful randomness of nature.

I see a field full of sharpely cut/defined rocks. One looks a little more squarely shaped than the others. A brick? Hard to say that. Proof of a Martian civilization? A even greater leap of faith. I would think a number of scientist on the Mars Rover team would cut off some very personal parts of their anatomy to gain proof of life beyond the mundane. And if it is a conspiracy of silence, why even post the picture?

I truely wished we would find evidence of some intelligent life forms, on earth or elsewhere.

There is no such thing as a "scientist on the Mars Rover team".

This is still lies:
they have their shity article in peer review for more than half a year.
When eventually they will crack down and admit inevitable, the truth, all sorts of geniuses will come out of the woodwork, claiming that they submited articles about life and civilization on Mars, which were in "peer review"

Whereas your chances of having any intellect at all are irrational and cause an error in any calculator ever made, unless you can find proof that these so-called mars life forms have found a way to divide a whole number by zero.

Do you young gentlepersons object to an old scientist posting on your board? I have not much to do and enjoy reading the posts by extrasense.

Post away! The more the merrier! We might even get a genuine topic related to Science from time to time. Please, feel free to hold forth. What might be your field(s) of expertise?
