4x10^9 Third World parasites with average 2000 kcal/day metabolisms,

(4x10^9)(2000 kcal/day)(1000 cal/kcal)(365.24 days/year) = 2.92x10^18 metabolic calories/year; easily double that if they engage in manual labor.

Latent heat of fusion of ice is 80 cal/g. Density is 0.917 g/cm^3 at 0 C.

(2.92x10^18 cal)(1/80 g/cal)(1/0.917 cm^3/g)(1/10^15 cm^3/km^3) = 40 km^3 minimum of ice melted/year from body heat. 80 km^3/year of melted ice would not be unreasonable. Add daily cooking fires and stock animal metabolisms.

If you want to end Global Warming, stop sendng charity to the Third World. Let them die of their own hand.

Make it a meritocracy...

What have you actually accomplished with all you have been given? You burn more fuel, take up more resources than someone in the third world. What was the point in educating you?

The energy we burn comes ultimately from solar energy. So, you would have to make sure that the solar energy which is now being absorbed by plants that are eaten would still be used to grow plants and these plants must be preserved so that they don't later rot and release the stored energy.

Perhaps we need more obese people. They store more fat, so less energy of the food they eat is burned. After death their bodies must be preserved; they must not be cremated or burried.

By the way,

excellent troll. A bit obvious, but sure to gain some attention. You may even keep better control than in your recent NASA troll.

Uncle Al,

Go to:

http://www.earthday.net/footprint/index.asp

Get a very rough idea of your ecological footprint and compare it to those in the two thirds world.

Why should they die whilst you continue to party?

These people will be the driving force of future scientific experiment. Not the well fed, comfortable people of any country. Neccessity is the mother of invention, it does not exist if people think they have already arrived at their destination.

Geez Al,

I know that we humans have many problems and that something must be done to change things. I just feel that our efforts should be directed somewhere in between the "jackboot" method the "dew-eyed feel good" method. Neither of these a particularily effective in the end.

It seems to me that scientist, engineers and other, more or less, rational people can come up with some problem solutions that are effective and humane!

The solution was put together between 1776 and 1783. Unfortunately 200 years of self-serving respresentatives have eaten away at what was created to the point that it no longer reflects the ideas of Adams, Jefferson, and Madison.

So someday someone will have to do it all over again.
