30% of all entering high school students become dropouts. This has been true and constant since the mid-1800s and McGuffey's Eclectic Primer. This is not tragedy, this is evolution in action. About 1/3 the human race has abilities other than in the intellectual arts. This includes no abilities at all. Cull the herd, reroute kids according to their real world abilities, and prevent the worst discards from breeding. Liberal America force-feeds and breeds the worst discards. It is called income redistribution, Welfare, diversity, and above all... compassion. Google protozoans 526,000 hits OTOH, if it really is protozones, http://aeterna.com/pdfdyn/Product_%20Pipeline_%20eng.pdf http://www.aeternazentaris.com/pdfdyn/Product%20Pipeline%20210504%20qxd.pdf http://www.gdfengineers.com/environmental/env_waterstorage_detail.asp?ProjectID=164 and hope your teacher (instructor, EDUCATOR) is a compassionate diversity.

Al, the first two of your links were bad when I checked them. The third actually used "protozones" when referring to "protozooans". The demise of the English language is imminent.

Dear Amaranth Rose,
The demise of the English language is eminent. Liberalism demands it. The oh so useful lower classes need not be kept in literal chains. Failing the phone test and playing the Lottery are entirely sufficient.
"INERT INTELLIGENCE IS THE PARADIGM OF INSTITUTIONAL RACISM!" UC Berkeley/Boalt Law School.
However, Sturgeons Law and Gresham's Law - hence FEMA and redux Vietnam Iraq. Elitism insists the better is preferable to the worse. Uncle Al is an elitist.

Don't blame it on liberals Al. Make things as simple as possible ... not simplistic.
Apparently you haven't been listening to your President, and his associates, torture the language.

Yes, Al actually addressing a thread topic without being abusive or engaging in some overtly partisan political crusade would be a great start.

Synthetic or syncretic or whatever, theory that is falsfied by empirical observation is irretrievably wrong. Investing in the hopeless is like administering medicine to the dead. "It can't hurt" is not the point. Misallocation of resources dooms whole civilizations. $50 billion squandered here, $300 billion lost there... pretty soon it adds up to real money.
Faith is rotted optimism. Only invest in futures you want. Do you want a future of Inner Cities, retirement communities, infinitely privileged morons and cripples... topped off by perpetual warfare? Who will do something productive to pay for it all?

So Al how would you allocate resources...
Is it liberalism to build more schools, provide better roads, encourage a healthy society through better and less expensive health care, protect natural resources so that generations from now will be able to breathe the air and drink the water. Are these things evil? Liberalism does not cause urban decay, loss of jobs through companies going offshore does.
Liberalism does not prevent schools from having books or enough heating oil, irresponsible conservative governing who spends all the money on a pointless war does.
AS much as you condemn liberalism you should not be typing on the internet right now as it was designed to be a free service which just reeks of liberalism.
Anyone in your family or circle of friends attend a public school, liberalism; is anyone you know a female who has a job, liberalism.
Realize what liberalism has done to promote society versus the neo cons and conservative outlook instead of condemning anything that helps anybody.
Find some new insult phrases too, you're getting redundant with your faith is rotted optimism phrase.

Apparently you haven't been listening to your President, and his associates, torture the language. Uncle Al obviously has a strong affinity for language. He also appears perseverant--he keeps responding to some old, unrelated stimulus about politics. Interesting.

Was there ever really a topic other then someone asking for help?
On my other forums I frequent that is pretty much the same as an open thread.

Protozooans (NOT "protozones") are actually pretty interesting microscopic creatures. You can find a pretty good collection of them in most samples of pond water or slime. Some of them are parasitic for human, such as Giardia lamblia or Amoeba proteus or the Trypanosoma species which cause African Sleeping Sickness, and the Plasmodium organisms that cause Malaria. There is a whole lot of information available on various kinds of protozooans if one wishes to simply google for the topic.
Hope that helps.
