We've been through this before. The last time around I passed on the same thing I have been hearing for years. A pair of virtual particles appear at the event horizon of a black hole. One of them falls in and the other escapes. That is a simplification and isn't really what happens. Ethan Siegel in his blog gives a better explanation: How will Black Holes die?

I'm not really going to try to recap his explanation, check the link to find out how he explains it. However, it isn't the a virtual particle that escapes, it is a photon. The photon is created by the annihilation of a pair of virtual particles. For more go ahead and follow the link.
