This is merely an innovative idea so I can understand if Kate should choose to delete it.

We all know that women hate it when men leave the toilet seat up. I have come up with a possible solution to this problem. It is a mechanism on the flush lever that gently lowers the seat. The mechanism is not invented yet because I would have to find out how a toilet operates, and I don't have time for that at the moment...

So Rob states he does not know how "a toilet operates".

I will always wonder at the priorities of genius.

Kate choose to delete something? That would be an innovation indeed.

But as much as I enjoy this topic ... the item you describe has been in commercial production for years.

Likely you live in the US where heated toilet seats don't exist too.

Thus Rob ... you are going to have to buy one or learn to do this the old fashioned way ... by hand.

You may get some sympathy with that. Most women believe that men are only capable of thinking one thought at at time: And they are pretty sure they know what it is too.

I have an automatic screen door closer that I rigged from a milk jug and some rope and set of light pulleys. Does that count as an invention?

A candle bomb -assasination tool. But later I saw it in a movie. Also, you know that artist that does street art so that if you look at it from a certain angle it looks 3D, I came up with that idea too.

I just came up witha new one! A hi-lighter with a 3cm wide nib -for hi-lighting graphs and diagrams. Also, red or yellow tac would sell much better than blu-tac. This is because people in offices feel 'blue' enough.
