OMG ... really , for something that has caused such
world wide concern recently wouldnt you think that the
CWC voluntary funding balance would be more than a mere

1.3 million EUR !!!!!

wow , that tells me that theres not much interest in the
convention at all , 1.3 million EUR is less than a
dinner party for those who got us into this position.

and it clearly shows that big money isnt interested in
helping nations to rid themselves of chemical weapons.

but they sure are interested in starting a war against
any nation who has supposedly used chemical weapons.

That is the balance. What is the budget? Think about your own home. I don't know what your income level is, but I bet that your income and expenses a lot more than the balance in your bank account.

Budget Gives Major Boost to U.S. Chemical Agent Disposal Effort

Quote:
Efforts to dispose of stockpiled chemical weapons in Kentucky and Colorado would receive a major boost through the Obama administration's new budget proposal, a nongovernmental organization said this week (see GSN, Jan. 3).

The Defense Department is requesting $778.7 million for the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives program in fiscal 2013, which begins on Oct. 1. The Pentagon sought and received $477 million for the same program in the current budget cycle.
