Perhaps not as 't Hooft explains. Particles may not ''really'' exist, invalidating Bell's no go theorem for deterministic theories.

I believe that Einstein was and still is correct: God does not play dice. The reason is that there are no particles. According to my insight, Count Iblis II surmises correctly. Everything consists of waves and the interactions are exactly as one would expect from waves; i.e. causal. Thus God is not a magician who changes the universe when we are not looking.

The difference between causal and not is likely our ignorance and little else.
